Gun Control Today ( GCT ) is an inclusive group of gun control advocates whose members, particularly in light of the Sandy Hook Elementary School tragedy, are focused on pressuring Congress to legislate responsible and reasonable gun control laws as a starting point to end gun violence in the United States.  We believe that there should be no higher priority for Congress than the safety of our children.  We applaud the new gun legislation recently passed by the state of CT.  Visit this link for more information on the  Connecticut Firearms Law.

” Firearms Not Permitted”  Campaign

We are contacting establishments such as bars and restaurants that serve alcohol in the Wilmington, NC, area and asking them to post a sticker that reads ” Firearms Not Permitted”.  The goal is to prevent the mix of alcohol and guns which is a very poor combination.
