Gun Violence Survivor Sit-In at the US Capitol Bldg June 6-12

by GunControlToday

Survivors from Parkland, Uvalde and other tragedies from gun violence have assembled for a sit-in at the US Capitol building in an attempt to bring attention to SB25 bill to ban assault weapons. The effort is meant to pressure Senator Schumer to bring this bill to the floor for a vote. Gun violence is a health issue in our country and needs to be addressed to protect our children. Sam Schwartz lost his best friend and cousin in the Parkland shooting and has organized the sit-in to try and get action on an assault weapon ban. Below are pictures from this event.
