Many thanks to Liz Buskirk for arranging to have Be SMART bilingual posters placed in all Wilmington Health pediatric exam rooms. She is a pediatrician herself and has very strong feelings regarding keeping kids safe from gun violence. Both English and Spanish Be SMART brochures have been given to all of these Wilmington Health offices. Let’s all be smart together and we can reduce the risks of gun violence to kids. Store guns securely, model responsible behavior, ask if there are guns in places your children will visit, recognize the risks of potential suicide in teenagers, and tell others how to keep kids safe from gun violence.
